MSM ConnectPrivacy Policy
MSM Connect is operated by MSM APPS (Adjud, Romania) (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@msm-connect.com. This policy explains what data MSM Connect processes.
Data that stays on your devices
Your iPhone screen, the media you import, your social media accounts and posts are processed locally between your Mac and your iPhone. They are not sent to us. The Apple ID used to sign the iPhone component stays in Xcode on your Mac.
Data our license server receives
- An anonymous Mac identifier (a salted hash; the hardware identifier itself is never sent);
- your license key, when you activate one;
- the amount of time you used control each day, to apply plan limits;
- technical data needed to run the server, such as IP addresses in short-lived logs.
We use this data only to provide trials, licenses and usage limits, and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They process your name, email, billing address and payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive order and subscription status, your email and your license key.
Feedback
If you send a report from the app, it includes the app version, connection state and recent status messages, plus anything you write. It is used only to fix problems.
Retention
License and usage records are kept while your license is active and up to 24 months afterwards for accounting and abuse prevention, unless a longer period is required by law.
Where data is stored
Our license server is hosted by Hetzner in the European Union (Finland). Email is hosted by Porkbun.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, or object to processing, by emailing contact@msm-connect.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16.
